To arrange the collection, CRUK will supply a pick up form which helps us understand your collection requirements.
Once your requirements are understood, we will request a very short Data Impact Assurance Level (DIAL) questionnaire is completed also. To explain, Data Impact Assurance Level is a new concept introduced for UK GDPR compliance, as part of the ICO approved ADISA Asset Recovery Standard 8.0 to ensure the data controller (our customers) can specify risk treatments which are sufficient to meet their own specific requirements.
Once the DIAL questionnaire is complete, you instantly receive a PDF certificate by email, confirming your DIAL Rating (DIAL 1, 2, or 3). By understanding what DIAL you are, confirms to both of us, the level of service required. CRUK are certified to provide a DIAL 2 level of service, which is reflected and detailed in the data processing agreement we provide for signature and return also.
We aim to collect within 5 working days maximum of receiving the request, unless requested otherwise, and our collection team will arrive at a pre-arranged collection point and handle all the safe and secure loading of your equipment onto our secure vehicles.
All collections are made by CRUK owned vehicles and CRUK owned staff. CRUKs ADISA certification ensures all collections and processes are completed to the highest of standards; ensuring client data is securely sanitised or destroyed within 20 working days
Within 30 working days, CRUK will provide you with a detailed asset report and certification of data destruction.
